British Columbia, March/April/May

We returned to the bus March 19.  It was stored at a campground in Penticton, BC.  The trip took 23 hours.  Hawaii to Vancouver, with a layover, then on to Kelowna.

It was good to get back on the bus.  Now we have to stay put as Alberta has closed down.  We were lucky that the campground stayed open.  Not a bad place to be stuck.
Beautiful spring flowers on the south facing hills.

Ed and I would take road trips up to fishing lakes in the mountains.

Lots of snow on the ground.

This will take a few more weeks to thaw.

Lower down, the lakes are thawed.

Beautiful scenery above Oliver, BC.

It’s fun to stop, crack a beer and nibble on snacks.
While waiting for the campgrounds to open in Alberta, we did many day trips.  We started in Penticton,BC, then up to Apex ski hill.  The west side decent to Keremeos, BC.  A very scenic trip.

I’m afraid of heights...yikes.
 The views are breathtaking.

I chose to stay in the jeep, I don’t like the edge.

Returning Home March 18/2020

Exploring caves on the west side of the island.

Curious Ed.

We were able to go for a sail and do some fishing.  The trade winds were calmer.

The last of our visitors, Jackie and Robin from Kelowna, BC.

More exploring beaches.
All packed and ready to fly home.
The flights were full, as people wanting to get home before the planes stopped.
