Sheridan Lake, Hawthaway Lake, British Columbia

This was our first visit to Sheridan Lake.  Sheridan Lake is one of hundreds in the Cariboo Region.  Ed and I enjoyed fishing in the evening, Ed was skunked today; I was entertained by the musical Loons.

We spent many evenings fishing, the fish were not cooperating.  I enjoyed the sunsets.

The colors at sunset vary each night.  This spot was my favorite to take pictures, every evening had a new palate of colors.

Home sweet Home.....or not.  This is a weekend cottage on Sheridan Lake.

After an enjoyable stay at Sheridan, we moved on to Hathaway Lake, a short drive North of Sheridan Lake.  This small quaint resort (Moose Haven), was a wonderful welcome; with large sites and  spectacular views of Hathaway Lake.

This is one of many cabins available to rent from spring to fall.

The local heron entertained us daily, fishing and fighting with a resident fox.

Ed and I did not tire of this view from the bus.

Each evening was picture perfect.

I was always amazed at the reflections on the water.

I like this view of our bus from the water.

While driving in the back country, we startled this little guy.  We didn't see mom.

Drewry Lake.  This is one of many lakes to camp with smaller units.

The reflection on the water at Hathaway was amazing.  The canoe helps to define the shoreline.

This fox huted twice a day.  She proudly paraded in front of us with her catch.
