Back to Mexico 2017

Winter is fast approaching in Alberta, time to get out.

Definitely to fly back to One Fine Day.
Back in Paradise Village, Nuevo Vallarta.  The snow is behind us, but it is hot and humid  in Nuevo Vallarta.
We took the dinghy up the estuary.  Eguana in every mangrove.
Ed and I sailed from Nuevo Vallarta to Mazatlan fo meet our good friend Patrick.    He brought our marine air conditioner. He was driving  to his home in La Penita.
Ed and I arrived befor Patrick and Laura; we enjoyed the sites and food of  Mazatlan.
We stopped in a beautiful Bay called Chacala, a little town north of La Penita. The food was amazing.  We had a wood fired red snapper, delicious.
We were surprised to see RVs parked on the beach.  No hook ups, but who cares.
a beautiful Casa on the hillside at Chacala.
Another beautiful sunset in Chacala.
On our sail south to Barra de Navidad we anchored at Chamela.  A Polish man and his wife opened a palapa.  He served cabbage rolls.  My husband enjoyed them very much.
He put on a pig roast for the cruisers.
Made to Barra de Navidad for another week.
Sierra and Cole exhausted after an afternoon snorkeling, swimming and beach combing.
It was Coles birthday.

They got the sombrero for the birthday tequila shots...yuk.
Our friend Patrick joined us for the Banderas Bash.  A race from Paradise  Village to La Cruz then to Punta  de Mita.  The final leg was back to Paradise Village.  It was a 3 day event; fun was had by all.

One Fine Day flying the kite.
I’m enjoying the view on the bow of the boat.

Pat caught his first fish, a skip jack, which isn’t a good eating fish.
