Toau Atoll, Apataki Atoll

June 11th Dazzler and One Fine Day bid farewell to beautiful Fakarava Atoll.  We sailed a short distance to Toau Atoll.  It was a short stay, the wind and waves increased, turning the anchorage into a 4-5kt River.  June 12th we sailed to Apataki Atoll.
We arrived at the entrance of Apataki at 1:30ish.  Brave Dazzler went first.
One Fine Day followed.
The pass was bubbling very little.
It took us four hours to cross the Atoll.  We dropped anchor in time for the sunset, and anchor dance beers.  Dan and Jilly had beautiful seats.
Jilly took this photo of us.
Every sunset is different.
The following day, we decided to have a beach party.  We had the anchorage and beach to ourselves. Ed having a cool one while cooling down.
 Hermit crab.
Dan collecting coconut.
 Life truly is a beach.
Fun was had by all.
Jill rook the photo of the party. Travel magazine photo.
The view from our boat towards shore.  When the sun is overhead, it brightens the water color.
A squall fast approaching.
Time to leave the anchorage and head out.

June 15th we said goodbye to Apataki.
It was a little choppy when we left the Atoll.
